I loved my stay at Candlebay Inn. The rooms were filled with charming decor and had a very cozy vibe. My bed was super comfortable. Connie, the innkeeper, was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Breakfast exceeded my expectations each morning with delicious homemade options. The location made it easy to stroll to LL Bean and the shops in Freeport. However, I did notice some Wi-Fi issues during my stay, which could be frustrating. Also, the steep stairs might pose a challenge for guests with mobility issues.

I had a lovely one-night stay, enjoying the cozy feel of the Standard Double Room and the tasty homemade breakfast that Connie's daughter whipped up. There are nice gardens and a comfy lounge area to relax in after exploring the town. The bathroom could've used a bit of an update, but it didn't spoil the experience at all. 😊
